Ill take a look into the TF2 files and get back to you later today with my findings, im still ironing out a few things with the offline editor so may be a few days for fix, hopefully wont be long tho :).

Delph, have you taken a look at the TF2 hud files with the most recent patch? It seems like Valve decided to move every single element that used to be in the single hudlayout.res file into each of their own res files. This would mean that we have to edit about 150 different res files now instead of ...

If anyone was wondering how to window the game, open the following in a text editor:
C:Users<user>DocumentsAlpha ProtocolAPGameConfigAPEngine.ini
Search for:
Fullscreen=True
Change to:
Fullscreen=False
The resolution toggles are also located here, about 10 lines below ...

Played retail and it worked fine, you can also move around all the hud elements, so no problems there.

I never quite understood why it was decided that offloading physics processing from the CPU to the GPU (or PhysX card) was a good idea. My CPU, memory, and buses involved are more than capable of handling the workload (my CPU never seems to exceed 50% usage). Offloading onto the GPU just seems like ...

Went scrolling through the command list and found a few.

3) The game engine does not automatically see the extracted hudlayout.res file and use it instead of the one in the .vpk file. To correct this you need to HEX edit the .vpk:
Search for this text string:
scripts.hudlayout
and change something in hudlayout to rename the .res file within ...
