Nvidia added support for DirectX 10 + 5040x1050 !
Just another reason for me to get 2 more Viewsonics. Oh well, at least the WH's have a wide array of video inputs to play with.

Nvidia added support for DirectX 10 + 5040x1050 !
When I initially ran the wizard with the old drivers, it wouldn't let me select 1680x1050@57. It would always list @55, which is what forced me to choose 1440x900@60 and then when I selected 5040 in the windows resolution, it would just work correctly from there.

Nvidia added support for DirectX 10 + 5040x1050 !
Hummmm......
Alt-enter to get it out of widescreen worked fine, but even when I select DX10, I'm still limited to 3360x1050 and if it matters in windowed mode, I can't budge the refresh from 60.
Suggestions?

I would just like to confirm this as a working solution.

Excellent. That was exactly the kind of reply I was hoping to find, thank you. If I don't get any other recommendations, then the Viewsonic VX2262wm is what I'll be getting. It currently runs $200 at newegg.

Hiya. I figured since this is the "hardware and tech support" section that it'd be the best place to put this.
Tax time is upon us and I'm looking for a lcd to replace my half-dead Westinghouse LCM-22w3. Half-dead being that it won't display over the DVI port anymore. I looked at the list of ...

Okay, here are some pictures that were taken with Fraps. Sorry about earlier, it was the first thing to come to mind. Didn't think of this method.

So I ran into a problem the other day.
I was messing around with the .cfg file in Doom3, trying to learn the ins and outs of setting up resolutions for games so they would work best with surround gaming. The best way to learn is by doing it yourself, correct? I eventually set it up to run at ...

Roger that. Heh, funny. Anyway, I guess you can add the Westinghouse LCM-22W2 and W3 to the list of lcd's that work at 5040 under triplehead mode.

Monitors that will and won't run at 5040x1050 @ 57hz
Well, I solved it.
I actually ended up doing some weird things to my actual hardware.
-I tried creating a custom 5040 rez, no go.
-While the lcd's said "out of range," I tried disconnecting them from the TH2G, connecting them to the system and setting the resolution. Oddly enough, upon ...

Actually, when I used them before I got the box all I could find was the option to use 60 or 59 via the monitor's display properties. If I could force something other than that, it's beyond me.

I just got my TH2G today. What a treat. After mucking around a bit and being confuzzled by a few things, I can say I absolutely love it. It even came with the latest firmware installed. Score 1 for Matrox/Newegg.

Post your "Command Centre" Pictures Here
I'm new here, so I figured I'd show my setup. The basic form is there, I just need to clean it up, such as align the lcd's and whatnot. I need to put a little support under the stands for the left and right screens as well, since they're both leaning in a little bit. My TH2G should be here between ...
