no offence but why would you spend like another $1000 aussie bucks so you can play a 3 yr old game and to run a benchmark?

I guess if u r rich ass then yeh ynot but for 99% of people it's just a waste of cash :P

I don't know why so many problems but my dp>vga works almost perfect on my 5770

remember you have to have your dp>vga as ur primary

I also have that 640x480 issue sometimes BUT all i hae to do is right click and bring up CCC and it automatically fixes itself :P

it is blocking my hdmi port becuase the adapter is so fat >_<

Now I need a very short anything longer than 5cm Dp male to DP female extention cable for cheap?

But allasudden my main DVI output won't send a signal any more to my center monitor. But it will if I use a DVI-VGA adaptor like supplied with the card. So that sucks. I think the card may have to be RMA'd

I can confirm the dp>vga works for me 100%

i have it set up at 5760x1200 on 3xdell 24inches

left monitor = DVI
middle = dvi>vga yes u read correct
right = (primary monitor) DP > vga

I have it working flawlessly without any flickers or whateva, windows keeps all settings after ...

I have 5770

I can setup a shortcut key to switch from 3 monitors to eyefinity. Only issue is i have to group it after i press it as they come out as clones.

I can also use a hotkey to switch back to 3 monitors fine :P

so does this confirm that it will work on my 3x24inch dells? with native res of 1920x1200?

I'm thinking of 5770 as I have no need for 100fps lol!

er, I did do research, I read every single post in this forum before I sold my stuff.

They never mentioned that you can't have dvi+dvi+hdmi to dvi connector?

If they did mention anything about an extra adapter I'm 100% sure they didn't say how much it was going to bloody cost.

Ok so i sold my triplehead + gtx260 a week ago and now i find out that you need some active dp converter for it to work with 3 screens?

Thing is, i wanted to go 6 screen and 6 screens would mean

5870 2gb + 6 active dp to dvi converters LOL!

just the converters alone would cost $500 ...

yeh I sold everything as well for good prices :)

but i'm gonna hold off for a while as there as pretty much 0 new games which require such power.

Sure replaying some old games at 1920x1200x3 will be awesome but i seriously don't have the time as I just bought a new elite + ps3 slim + g25 ...

f hadn't sold my triplehead for about $240 usd and my gtx 260+ for $160 i'd be screaming RIPP OFF LOL!

but yeh, this is pretty much a free upgrade for me ^_^ + i can finally ultilise my 3x24inches at 3x1920x1200 :)
