thank you for that fix. I am on 5040x1050 and having some issues with the interface, which is optimized for x1080. Those 40 pixel seem to cut off top and bottom.
What needs to be done for 5040x1040?

Well Divinity Original Sin is like Baldurs Gate with Coop Option.

To be honest, my next choice is the 4790k or equivalent.
With 5040x1050 resolution most 7970 or newer get along, but if you dont play gpu optimized games, you get trouble with weaker cpus. i.e. x-plane, where my overclocked [email protected] GHz is even weak.
On the other side the AMD FX9590 with 4,7 / 5 ...

Unfortunally yes, i totally removed The 7970, and then every problem is gone

All Monitors where connected to The r9, also one with hdmi and speakers, also realtek onboard, The first i did was to reinstall ati hdmi 2.70 audio and realtek audio drivers.
Then Fallback to 14.09 ati ...

as found in the database x plane supports eyefinity, but do you really want that? Definitly not.

I started at 5040x1050 and if you play offline you will normally dont get in trouble. Setting this up with 130° FOV took about 3 Minutes.

Well i am having some trouble and hoping for others with experience who had the same issue. Since its more an issue with ATI itself instead of Eyefinity i dont know if its the right forum, but here might be the right guy with a setup like mine ...

The too big interface seems to be a small problem, but
texts are not complete visible.... well ...

Ok, changed to #1 and #3, not as cool as before but both temps the same (but still 80C), no stuttering no problem, everthing works.

Well i didnt know that 100°C is the top of heat without damage.

Well the "getting the 2nd card as hot as the first" is due to my mothertongue sorry, in fact i mean i like to try to get the first one as cool as it was before plugging in the 2nd.

I changed 2 fans and i am waiting for 91mm ...

Well ergh, i am playing rift at the moment and really enjoy it.

but as all new games, it seems that it doesnt matter what videocard or cpu you got, it needs to get optimized :D

i now proudly own 2 Asus 5870E6 (i know the 6970 would have been better, but i wanted to try and it was cheaper to buy a 2nd than one 6970)

At the moment i connected my 3 displays to the first card, and enabled crossfire.
So at the moment i see not a huge performance gain ...
