As far as I know, Software triple head works on ATi cards at 5760x1200, so could it really be ATi's issue and not matrox's? If 5760x1200 can be done on both ATi and NV cards for games how come it can't be done on a triple head to go? That's the thing putting me off a THTG as I have 2 24" dells and ...

IS this what you mentioned possible? Yes. Now, given the different resolutions, the monitors and using TH2G? Not sure, but I know software side of it and hardware do meet at some point.

If so, can you set a modeline for 5040x1050 @57hz on an ATI card?

I'm thinking it might help rule out a driver issue.

I think you could use the Digi. version on the DVI port and an analogue version on the secondary VGA port on your graphics card. That would yield six monitor array. But..... What game are you going to play with that. I don't know of any near 360 degree games. Then again, I am new to the wide screen ...
