I'm having exactly te same problem as 7thSin, though my resolution is 1680x1050. So no pre-rendered movies for me during widescreen resolution. I also used uniws program and checked with the hex editor those values and all seemed to be in order, expect ofcourse that movie problem. I took the screens...
