Hey guys, i recently found my old theme hospital game in a forgotten cardboard box, so i got nostalgic and installed the game. Problem is, that is nearly unplayable on a 22' widescreen cause 1. The game feels so stretched that isn't funny and 2. All the text is unreadable cause of distortion on WS. ...

Well, i just got the game and its great! If you liked TIM you will definetly like this game.
The only drawback is that it doesnt support widescreen natively. Has someone played this game and care to help? Thanx! |

Thank you everyone for your input. It will still be a few weeks before I am ready to upgrade so I guess I will get a chance to check out the new Ati cards. Also, this may sould like a dumb question, but what does screen size have to do with the performance of the card? Shouldn't only the resolution...

Yeah i swore that aoe3 stretched the screen, and not expanded the FOV. I guess i was wrong, probably shocked by the ugly pixelated HUD. Ok im getting the 22' thanx I was a little confused because i asked between 22' and 20', and u said always go bigger because you get a little mor FOV, so i thought ...

First off, i dont think you can play crysis or the newer games on 30' even with the latest cards, with all the settings set on high. Note that there are no benchmarks for the higher resolution for crysis for instance. I had to make the same desition, and i finally chose neither: i picked the ATI 487...

Override is a common name for accelerating the response time of a LCD panel. The 226BW is by default a 5ms response panel but measures 2ms when the override feature is enabled. FOV or Field of View is the angular extent of the observable world that is seen at any given moment. In laymen's terms it ...

Always go bigger with a WS vs 4:3 because you're basically getting the same view with some added FOV side to side. I'll refer you to the 1024x768 vs 1024x640 screenshots I posted on this forum to exemplify what I mean. http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/9076 In reality a 22" WS is about the ...

Do you think that having a pcie 2.0 slot makes a difference compared to a 1.0? I've read some articles and it seems that the difference is nearly unnoticable, even when the new GPU's claim they are pcie 2.0. At present, the graphic cards dont seem to need the double bandwidth for most games. I ask t...
