Ok, this is driving me nuts as well...XVI refuses to find the strings. Could someone either walk me through this to get it to display 1680x1050, or provide a patch? I'd be really grateful.

Ok, so apparently I had a lapse of complete retardation yesterday...I checked out my settings, per request, and it turns out that switching my desktop resolution to 1440x900 made 1280x960 show up, not 1280x800.

Still, it looks quite a lot better in fullscreen than the other resolutions. Sorry ...

Very weird. On a whim, I tried setting my desktop resolution to 1440x900, launched the game, and lo and behold, suddenly there was an option for 1280x800--from everything I read, the game wasn't supposed to have any 16:10 ...
