| or should i consider saving a good $200 and using that money for a new computer peripheral setup: headphones, mouse, mousepad, new fans, and TIM. I don't mind 60HZ LED or non LED for Bad Company 2... it's my Counter-Strike 1.6 competitive gameplay in leagues that I am worried about... 120 FPS is no ... |

| I have waited a long time, and decided not to buy the 22" Viewsonic/Samsung 120Hz LCDs. Now that we have the Alienware OptX & Acer GD235Hz.. I would like to ask which is the better buy for competitive FPS gaming? Of course I would rather have the better response/input times over color.. and price di... |

I heard my 5770s aren't the best for lower frame rates, and that could hurt me when I go under 60fps on 120hz monitor..right?
If so I Can save money and go with a Viewsonic VX2265wm, and purchase the ASUS when I upgrade my PSU+GPU (1-3 years from now) |

Walmart will take back anything no questions asked.
Then that is definately worth the gas + $20 extra fee!
I heard they had some extended warranty service, but was wondering if this is worth it?
I will definately be keeping the monitor for 3 years! |

| [quote]I really don't know who has the better warranty & return policy? Do I go with Newegg or Walmart? I am biased, you have been warned. Go with Newegg. I have had great success with them in the past. Have never liked Wal-Mart... but that is a long story. Well, I wouldn't want even 1 dead pixel *... |

| 120Hz you probibly want a solid 60 fps, bare minimum 30 solid all the time, with 120fps being ideal, the reason I say this is because there is no point going to a screen with 1 frame every ~8ms, and then have a card giving it a frame every 32. It is a little bit like buying a ferrari, and running i... |

Someone told me on DigitalVersus they tested the Viewsonic vs. Samsung
The Viewsonics have a lower input lag
but just by 1frame..is that 1 frame important enough for an FPS gamer to pull the trigger?
Or will the better contrast ratio make me a happy camper? |

Just to find out MW2 has no dedicated servers...it's my first day on my computer.. and alll I have to say is...

| Samsung 2233rz vs Viewsonic 2265wm So I really want to know which one of these monitors I should buy for hardcore fps gaming. They both display at 1680x1050 @ 120hz. I heard the Viewsonic has a better response time...or is it lower input lag? I heard the Samsung has a better contrast ratio. The View... |
