Didn't see a post here for it, so I just wanted to mention that Star Trek: Online fully supports triplewide resolutions.

I've tried everything I can think of and I cannot get a resolution above 1280x1024x3. I need 1440x900x3. Has anyone gotten this working on a 5870 (or similar) card in Windows 7?

Can you post some detailed timings for 4320x900 (1440x900x3)?

Eyefinity can run it, if it is your native resolution. The issue is that it can't drop down to something (that's usable) other than your native panel res.

Coming into this late I'm seeing lots of conflicting information, so I'd like to verify something. In the ATI HD 5870 review here on the site it says:

Unfortunately ATI was not able to implement support for custom resolutions (needed for 5040x1050) in the Catalyst software for the Radeon 5800 ...

Can you not use the 4th monitor with Eyefinity?

I'm getting kicked by Punkbuster while using this for some sort of memory error? I rebought and downloaded COD4 just because I saw we had a fix for TH2G multiplayer in it and now it doesn't work. :( I am using the 1.7 safe

I have 3 19" Dell Widescreen monitors as my TH2G setup right now just sitting on my desk. I have just ordered a 24" 2408 monitor for non-surround gaming and hopefully to be one of three 24" monitors someday in the distant future when we can do 1900x1200x3 reliably.

Messed around in the beta tonight. The game crashed whenever I tried to do the character creation at triplewide resolutions, but once I got past that the game itself ran fine.

Anyone had success with an ATI card in Windows 7? Preorder pricing was announced today & I want to get it for $99 if it's going to work at launch.

I'm thrilled about the FOV change on PTR. FInally people with 3 screens get to see 3x as much as normal people, rather than 1/3. That being said, I get a crash whenever I attack something on the PTR. This happening to anyone else?

Thanks so much to Matrox support. This fixed my issue. I'm shocked that one DVI port on my video card supports this resolution, but the other does not.

1. uninstall ATI driver
2. uninstall Power Desk SE
3. change the DVI port of your graphic ...

I'm not sure if this helps, but when I actually got the modes working on my older drivers, they were not selectable in the "Edit Mode list" (meaning I could not add them as a saved resolution) They were however available for selection if you choose the Matrox GXM setup..., and click ...

Well, went through that whole process step by step and it accomplished nothing. My TH2G shows 1440x900 as available for a 1 or 2 monitor resolution, but not for a 3.

Well, bad news. At least for me. The 4320x900 is fine on the desktop, but all my games flash when I use it. So this isn't a confirmed fix I guess. So much for flawless, lol.

Could that just be a refresh rate or timing issue?
