| ALL the scaling options in your video drivers don't do te job for you? Some monitors have options to force 4:3 and/or enable "1:1" pixel mapping, which shoudl also do the job. Also make sure there aren't newer drivers for your monitor. Although I've never had the problem, a lot of folks apperently ... |

| Sure I know about the function in the control panel, but the thing is that it doesn't work for me. Dunno what's wrong but when I try to choose any other option ("no scaling" for example) than nvidia scaling or monitor scaling the checkbox turns back to scaling, so that's the problem.. can't choose "... |

| I have exactly the same problem. Have 20" SAMSUNG SyncMaster 206BW, prefer to use 640x480 or 800x600 but the image is being scaled, need to center the image (with black empty place), really need to.. Tried nvidia control panel, but scaling options do not move to anything other than the native monito... |
