I followed this guide and managed to get 1024x768 working (letterboxed) on the desktop, but when I execute a game it switches back to 1440x900: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/7949 He says in the guide that it happens because of refresh rates defaulting to 75 or something, but I downloaded...
