There's a myriad of technologies which have come around in the last 2 or so years that prevent burn-in. I'm assuming some or most of them work to a large degree?

I'm not finding what I've been looking for in this regard. I'm in a position to finally upgrade my gateway 22" ws, and I was curious why nobody uses plasma tvs as monitors? Well, I am sure someone somewhere does, but I haven't found any detailed review. Obviously you'll be using 16:9 instead of 16 ...
