I've seen that list and it doesn't have any 10xx resolutions listed, which is the one magical rez that I found worked well. Are there any good 10xx resolutions (besides the ones I listed in the first post) that work well for people?

I've been searching for a long time on the net trying to find information on all kinds of possible widescreen resolutions that work well with games, under 1280x720 and 1280x800.
