Yeah, it was made by an entirely different development team than the first. This is why I find some of their mistakes this time around forgivable. At least they acknowledged the problem, made statements about it, communicated with the public about it, and (mostly) fixed it. 2K Australia handled the...

You can get "widescreen" resolutions running by editing the ini... But the gameplay area itself is 4:3 and black bars are on the left/right. I know I can use a tool to change it, but that only works with 1.3. I got the Platinum Edition of the game, and it comes with 1.51 installed. Is it possible t...

i'm new to this forum, but i have tried this edit and it works for the most part in the quake2evolved mod release 2, but i have tried the autoexec for the disappearing weapon bug but it dose not work. After doing some research, it seems that cl_gun "2" is NOT a vanilla Q2 command. Q2 natively doesn'...

If you can, I highly recommend using DVI rather than VGA. If fixed aspect ratio scaling (accessible from the Change Flat Panel Scaling tab in the new CP) is broken in Forceware, then try this reg patch. It was broken in a XP driver (was a v161.xx I think) released several months ago that with I trie...

I had a problem with the Single Player, where it wouldn't remember my FOV settings when I reloaded saves. I got the idea for my solution from here. You have to change the variable for cg_fov in wolfconfig.cfg (and wolfconfig_mp.cfg for multiplayer, obviously), just having the command in your autoexe...

Hi Daremo, no offence but your calculated FOV variables are a bit off. There is a definite Horiz increase, but there's still some vert loss. Could please put out another version with some new calculated variables? Thanks in advance. Screenshot Comparison - First = 1280*1024 (Tool set to 4:3) Second ...

Thank you very much for the widescreen solution, Daremo!
Do you mind if your tool is uploaded to Thief fan sites, such as thief-thecircle.com?
Have you tried it with the lockpick interface?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:- Yup, it works whilst lockpicking, but not when eye zooming. |
