Keymapper seems to work okay, but if you try and type a *, I get nowt, or the original keypress.
Got to be a Vista issue, wouldn't you think?
After 6 months of struggle, and some recent severe annoyances, I may well switch back to XP. Pah.
Damn you Redmond! Damn you to hell! |

Just adjust the sliders before you play the game (or alt tab out to adjust them) then you dont have to worry about ctrl.
Just hit the * on num pad to enable it when you are in game.
That's my problem though - no numpad, and ctrl doesn't work for me. |

Ah - noticed that, but too dumb to realise what it meant
ETA: Still can't get it to work though - set my preferred FOV using the hack, start game, in game press CTRL, nowt happens.
I'm sure other Vista users are getting it okay! Damn... |

Has anyone without a numpad (don't ask!) managed to get the patch working?
Each time I press shift it jumps to the plasmid menu before I can press 8 to get *.
*Goes off to see if he can change the shift key in Control Options* |

| I like to think that my avitar is looking at yours. Which would win in a scrap? Hmm. Yeah, I remember a couple of posts about it in passing (read a lot of threads in the last couple of days  :D ) but it was relating to getting the function key to work - I've got a stupidly unnecessary Logitech... |

| Sorry to drag back to the patch, but: Running Vista 32 (sorry), with an 8800, don't seem to be able to get the patch to work - tried running in DX9, doesn't seem to make a difference. Any tips on how to disable Driver Signing in Vista as previously suggested? Don't seem to be able to find a decent G... |
