I wonder if you are the one who registered that domain :)

BTW, I suggest only visiting that site in firefox, it looks like one of those that could be loaded with who knows what.

Edit: LOL odd, the site changes every time you reload it. And sometimes ...

Re: fix not working for me

With this widescreen FOV Hack/Fix maybe I am misunderstanding how it works. Based on what I read, I should be able to take 1280x1024 resolution and display it in 16:10 format (just like what the 360 does), is that correct?

If so, I have tried the hack but it doesn't do this. Am I doing ...

Bioshock: artistic vision - or not as the case may be

Is there still no official patch from 2K? What are those fools doing, it should take a few hours to patch.
It also has to pass Q&A. Even if irrational finished the patch in a few hours, it could take weeks to pass 2k's Q&A.
Surely you've seen this before? A dev will occasionally announce a long ...

Bioshock discussion and Detailed Report grading questions.

For the FMVs and cut-scenes, we need comparison screenshots, with the hack enabled on the widescreen shots.

Also, I have one question. If the FMVs come in 4:3 versions and 16:9 versions, then why is Gabbo's 4:3 FMV shot letterboxed?
You can check for yourself in the game folder:
2K ...

"]16:9 users, heres your settings!!

0.706 Width / 0.75 Height
Actually I'm pretty certain it should be both same height and width.

The ideal settings for a widescreen 120 FOV should be about 0.625 on a 16:9 :)

Bioshock : Detailed Report

It looks like they actually maintain a constant 75 degrees FOV regardless of the widescreen or full screen. In addition, if you look in the movies folder:
2K GamesBioShockContentBinkMovies
They actually have separate 4:3 and widescreen versions of a couple of game videos.

I confirm it works perfectly for me on a 19" WS 1440x900 @ 0.7/0.7 - I know these are not accurate but it's what felt right when I A/B it and it's fine for now, will try the numbers above later to see if I can get it perfect.

Bioshock: artistic vision - or not as the case may be

Cliff notes:
Skip to table 1 if you want to play as the Devs designed the game, and only correct for the widescreen zoom. Use numbers in the table on the sliders (both sliders MUST MATCH). Skip to table 2 if you wish to play as if the base FOV in 4:3 was 90 degrees (like many FPS games) according ...

Its inexcusable for take2 to be doing this with a modern game, especially after they promised not to in reply to specific questions that were concerned about this VERY THING.
