Well.. I guess I just had some bad luck then. I have a 4870x2 myself :)

I'm glad you took the time to test, I think I wont waste much more time trying to fix this.

Apperently brilliant highlights work but when I install brilliant bloom the aspect ratio in widescreen becomes completely f'ed. Not a very big issues since I can play without the bloom. However what I cannot play without is Anti-aliasing which of course doesnt work... Stupid ATI card I should have ...

I have tried that, and it sort of works. Now without any mods it seems to work. However menus are still being rendered in 640x480.

Also, Anti-Aliasing doesn seem to work but that is another issue...

I have manged to play it in a custom resolution now but I have to set the values in the console every time I play. It worked one time when i ran the game in administrator mode though. It's really weird.

Yeah I know.. Not that old. But still, I have tried pretty much everything i found on the net and I simply cannot get this to work. It seems to be a common problem but everyone else seems to find solutions for it.
