I thought too. I even finished the game beeing sure to play with Coyote but actually, he's supposed to be coyote's valley cousin.
He was the main character from "Sam sheepdog and Ralf the wolf".

Have you tried downloading the "Worms world party "Service Pack?
I know from WSGF that "Armageddon" works in widescreen since a recent patch. Might be the same for "world party".
If you don't, I'll try (if I can find back the CD...).

Unfortunatly, if you attempt to get a mission by phone, only the first line of text is displayed, which makes the game unplayable...
