Responding to your original request for recommendations I suggest you to try Warhammer 40K Dawn of war.

Ok my desktop resolution is 1680x1050, my card is an oldie NVIDIA GeForce FX5200 with latest drivers. The cable is a standard vga (The card doesn´t come with DVI plug) and the other games run great (wahrhammer DOW, Warcraft III, PES 6,etc).

Thanks Rage but it doesn't fix the problem neither. I tried all choices with no results at all, I'll try reinstalling the game.
