Yes i know that, but the fact is that i can't afford 1200x800 unless I decrease level of detail (omg i can't make up my mind to disable full dynamics) and the stalker fov utility allowed me to bypass this limitation . Changing aspect ratio and FOV on the fly, it was really great .

Yes i have installed the patch but what i mean is that i'm stuck in 1024x768 (i just have a 7600GS) so i have to rescale. But the image is all flattened, I mean when i look at a wheel for example , it is not round at all . I could fix this with the stalker FOV but now i can't

Can someone explain me how to set a proper aspect ratio for a poor guy who play in 1024X768 on a 16/10 screen ( samsung 206BW) ?

The patch seems to fix the problem only for those playing the game in native rez , but those who have to rescale can't enjoy the widescreen anymore ...
