You're correct. It will change when you apply the hack but it won't show in the options screen.
Just start playing and you should have the correct resolution. :)

Hi, and I apologize in advance for being stupid. I'm trying to run this game on my 19" widescreen monitor at 1440x900 (max resolution). But do the display options on the menu change to allow you to choose the widescreen resolution, or does it just happen regardless of the display options? Because no ...
