I tried the bf1942 fix and it seems to work although there is some cut off the bottom for sure. I am going from a 18 viewable to 22 so I do not have an eye for what might actually be happening.
Either way it is playable and much better

Is he meaning to delete the .con files- start the game- update the shortcut while the game is running somehow? Or just delete the files, update the shortcut and start the game and pick the new ...

Ditto for me. I tried this fix and nothing. I thought it might be the sequence of deleting and updating the shortcut and nothing worked.

I saw the link and instructions and noted that it was BF2. I assume it looks all the same for 2142?

Just making sure. I have a Scepter 22 coming tomorrow and wanted to find fixes for all of the games I play now.
