Thanks. That could explain it. Just bought a DVI cable off eBay, hopefully this'll end my non-widescreen gaming nightmares :P

With my 7800GS using the 93.71 drivers, I do NOT see any centered timings / force aspect ratio options. The wiki link to pillarboxing shows a section called Display Panel Properties. From there you could do force aspect, center, etc.

Does anyone know the most recent driver that contained that ...

Is this only for DVI inputs? My 27" LCD TV doesn't allow me the option of forced aspect ratio when in advanced timings nor does my Acer AL1916W (19" wide) - both are using Sub inputs.

Would like to know as well. Closest I see under options to a 1.777 ratio is 1280x768 (1.6666)
