The AOE2 workaround is for AOE3 or AOM, not AOE2, it never worked. Not one person has said that it worked.

Okay, none of these work. AOE2 does not use the same engine as AOM or AOE3. This game came out like 5-6 years ago, no one had widescreen monitors. There is no run-in-window option and the game only supports three resolutions no matter what. If your monitor doesn't support one or two of those three ...
