[quote]Version 1.05 is supposed to have a widescreen fix, can anyone confirm this?
More like a widescreen hack. It adds a couple of widescreen resolutions but, the hud is still messed up. Look at my new post for the 16:9 hud fix.
Yea, darnit!!.. i was happy to see "widescreen support" on the v1 ...

Re: ASUS MW221U Issues - screen doesnt fit???
nah i mean with bf2142 i can force it to run 1680x1050, which is my native resolution. bf2142 doesnt support widescreen, so max res for me is 1600x1200. there is a command that forces it to run 1680x1050. no stress on monitor. just pain in the arse that it has to be done like that.
Aight!, thx ...

Re: ASUS MW221U Issues - screen doesnt fit???
yeah but his is a WS monitor. i think he has specific drivers tho, therefore he can select 16x12 adn the monitor must auto-adjust the aspect ratio. i dunno. i can force it to work in bf2142, im happy with that for now. :)

Very strange ... if I set it to Auto with three screens I get the correct aspect ratio for three screens ... so why wouldn't it do 16:10 ? ... :?

Try setting it to "Auto"
I juz tested it, when i set to "auto" it set at "4:3"...
Oh well, i guess i have to play it at "16:9", and it definately looks better (doesnt look scretched) compared to "4:3".
So, actually GRAW PC doesnt have "16:10" afterall?... (juz wanna confirm this.. :oops ...

GRAW Widescreen/resolution
[quote]you have to got to the "Ghost Recon Advanced WarfighterDatasettings" folder (where you installed the game) and edit "renderer_settings.xml". You'll find a resolution entry there if I remember correctly; just change it to be 1680 x 1050 in the way it is already set, and it will be all good ...

Adding "Widescreen "0"" to autoexec.cfg removes letterboxing.
Cool it works!!!.. no more "letterboxes" for me!.. :D
Paddy : did u add "Widescreen "0" instead of the typo of "Widescreen "0"" ?..
Cheers
