| Well I sent the Samsung back. On the plus side of things I think it was just the orrible viewing angle. The DVD playback on it was horrible though...strange. | Actually, now that I look at the light, I'm not sure if it's really bad or not to tell you the truth! I think I'll just send the other one back if it looks like this one does. |

| I can't notice anything with an all black screen, in fact it looks perfect....only with white or bright monotone colors. I thought about the replacement being worst but I'm hoping for the best. I know the average person probably wouldn't see it but then I don't think the average person browses these... |

| No it doesn't, I can only notice it on a monotone color....something bright like white especially. At any rate, for this monitor, it's all moot since I called Samsung today and they're sending out a replacement so I can still use this one until the replacement comes. |

| You can tell the most when you're comparing two white screens. The one at the top is slightly whiter and bolder than the one at the bottom. I wouldn't call it a bleed, but it's just...well like I said....whiter and bolder. I wish I could take a pic of it but it's so subtle that it wouldn't show up o... |

| I just got a Samsung 2443BWT monitor yesterday and it's great, but one thing bothers me a bit. The Top half of the screen is slightly brighter than the rest. When I say slightly, I mean barely at all, but if you look you can see it. My question is, should I return it for another one or is this norma... |

| I updated my review regarding DVD playback and it's very favorable! While I really don't play DVD's on my computer, this alone now puts the score from a B+ that I give the LG L204WT to an A-! |

| Well I went and got another one and thankfully this one doesn't have any backlight bleed and something else. It's strange, but I swear the text with this L204W is cleaner than the other one. The only thing I can think of is that the bleed from the other one was just a symptom of something else that ... |

| Thanx, it could have been more indepth but I tried to be thorough with the short time I've had it, save DVD's, which I'll try to do today and amend that as well. | Well guys I'm not sure if this is set in stone but it appears my backlight bleed has disappeared! Does this sort of thing ever happen? Get a monitor with a bleed and then 10 hours later it completely disappears? WEIRD! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad, but I'm wary that it might come back or something. ... |

| Well I think I fixed it, but I have a new problem....well not new, but I wanted to fix the other one first. I'm getting sick with BF2142 now. What's up with that? The only time I get sick is when I haven't played in about a month. Will this too pass? Is it because this is a new monitor? I don't know... |
