Seems LG canceled their new cheap IPS panel that they were going to release (their 24") and are continuing with a 24" panel with an estimate retail price on screens with it at 1600 euro :/
Seems Nec is the new thing to wait for :) |

Apple already has a 24" by LG, H-IPS and LED but it's freaking expensive ^^; tripple the price of the monitor I just bought.

I went and returned the monitor. Had to sacrifice 5% of the price for them to let me return an open product, oh well. Then I ordered the DELL G2410 LED display. It is still TN panel but according to reviewers they are saying the LED technology negates out the bad aspects of a TN panel. So looking fo...

I doubt DVI-DVI vs DVI-HDMI would make any difference. Both carry HD video signals. I use DVI-HDMI on my PC to connect to my Samsung 26" CRT HDTV and the picture is excellent. On alternatives, in 22" the Dell 2209WA e-IPS is pretty much the best one now, but it's 1680x1050. It's priced in the TN ra...

i would guess the tv is set maybe to warm settings (looks more red than it "should") and the screen is set maybe to cold settings (looks more blue than it "should") so with the 2 extremes you are getting the worst :P also... try it with DVI- DVI instead of DVI- HDMI Tards at BenQ didn't put any DVI...

I am kind of thinking of selling it and buying another screen. Anyone of you got a good recommendation on a 22" or 24"? (rather 24) I am starting to hate the screen. Playing my ps3 through the hdmi, the games are all native 720p and when i run that the games get really blurry and jaggy, the scaling ...

Seems it was just me who wasn't used to how things look on screens, went to my friends place who has s-ips and he got the same problems if you can call them that. I am just used to my LCD tv I guess, my guess it has a lot of different filters you can't turn off (because I turned ll I can find off) t...

I have the screen connected now through my dvi to hdmi cable that i used to connect it to the tv before. And I am not liking the results somehow. The yellows seems a little green tinted and there seems to be this grainy filter on when you look closely. And my tv episodes and whatnot on the computer ...

I bought the G2412HD. Since they didn't have G2411HD in the store, had to order it in. But they had it on the wall as a demo ex, and they had G2410HD next to it which is also 23,56" instead of 24". And it was exactly as big as the 24" for some reason. So that made me ok with G2412HD being 23,56" Hav...

I would email BenQ on the details. Ask them if the panel size is the only difference or if maybe the new model has something the feature list/spec sheets do not show, like different scaling options or even firmware versions. Sometimes firmware updates alone can make a big difference in performance ...

In this case I'll advise against those... and rather choose one that's been reviewed and matches your needs unless there's some rare feature that those got and none other ... But then that's only my opinion. you might want to check out : http://www.digitalversus.com/article-357.html which is my ref...

I did not find any reviews for those monitors so can't really give any advice except for the general one which would be to look out for reviews as information given by the constructor is often completely off the reality and since sometimes even screens with the same model number have different "pan...

I have been using my LCD TV as a monitor for too long now and wanted to get a real TFT monitor. I have been looking through the regular shops around here and it seems there are some screens that are popular among the buyers. And those are Benq G2411HD & G2412HD as well as the Asus VW264H. The Asus b...
