Ok, it appears that it is just stretching the screen, not updating the FOV.

Now, I'm having trouble getting the FOV edit right. First, I follow the instructions, but it's not allowing me to extract the single file. Do I need to use a different program from the Windows one? Second, I tried ...

I'm new to this. :) How would I know if it's HOR+?

Hmmm...I just bought this game, updated it to patch 1.4, and I didn't have to hack or edit anything for WS support. 1680 X 1050 was a selectable res from the start. It looks great!

Thanks all, I'm really enjoying myself so far. I've been playing HL2, Deus Ex, WoW, and downloading demos like crazy. I also just got Far Cry and I'm installing it as we speak. :)

Try as I might, I couldn't get it to run from my legitimate CD copy. I downloaded the full program to my comp, and it runs, but I have no sound. Oh well, guess I'll play Deus Ex instead, I never did play that one!

This game is in my top five of all time, and I'd love to be able to play it again, but it just doesn't want to work on Win XP. I have a legitimate copy and everything. :( Anyone have any success getting this one to work, WS or not?

Yeah, but I'm looking more for opinion here. Not so much which ones take advantage of the WS so much as the ones people personally see as "must plays" on WS.

I saw the lists of compatibility and whatnot, which are great, but what are some of the really "oh wow" games to play on WS? I have HL2, which is awesome, and WoW which is decent. What else should I look into, particularly "older" games that I can get on the cheap?
