I am having alot of problems with TDU myself..Especially concerning lagging/studdering...There is even a thread about this on the atari forum..Alot of people are stroggeling with this game..
It has been comfirmed that a patch is coming in may..
But It really bugs me that I ...

I have tried to run TDU in Dual Display but when I come to mainmeny of the game the TDU window starts to flicker and TDU crashes..
Anyone found a solution for this?

I can't play the game on higher resolution then 640*480..
If I set reso in 800 or higher and when I click on race or start button to drive/race the whole machine crashes..

I guess my 8800 GTX is too much for the game..

There is 1680*1050 resolution option when choosing the resolution you want..blush..

Default this game only support up to 1280*960 (well on my system)

Thank god that this game have a file you can edit to mess around with
the resolution..

But I am not very good at this so I need som advice to make it look better..

Use VLC there you can choose 16:9, 16:10 and so on :)

In the config there are 1680*1050 resolution

I just installed Far Cry again...and added Far Cry AMD 64 Exclusive Content Update Patch...And damn..Its hard to believe that this game is from 2004-2005...I still looks awesome...

I think we should e-mail EA complaining about this lack of widescreen support. Can't they see that PC users are moving to LCD and plasma displays and most big screens have widescreen resolutions???

I also totally agree that carbon has serious issues with framerate drops..
I have tried to test out different eye candy configurations but the highest
I get is 40-45 FPS..but it drops frequently down to 20-15 and up to max 40-45 FPS..
that is just terrible to play on...It really makes your ...

You HAVE TO use the razor exe! It works only with that version.
1. Download the "razor" exe
2. start the game, set 640*480 resolution, quit
3. rename the nfsc.exe to speed2.exe
4. patch it as described above
5. start the game, the res will be ws AND AR correct

You can't for the moment..Non of the hacks or hack programs I have tested seems to be working..the picture is only stretched:-(
