i was wrong. how do you get gamespy not to revert me back to 800x600res. does everyone who plays bf2 in widescreen do it in single player?

well i got it working at 1680x1050. i had to do a system search fo video.con files and delete them all. i found 6 of them.

i've used the in game browser after launching with the shortcut and it reverted back to 800x600. are you saying you can't use gamespy and have widescreen res?

well i just got a samsung syncmaster205bw. the shortcut hack works great for bf2 single player. as long as i double click the shortcut i get my 1680x1050 res, but when i use a multiplayer browser and connect i revert back to 800x600. i've tried deleting all of my video.con files. that didn't work fo...
