I'm running version 0.8.6.d which only fullscreens to a single display (unless I hold ctrl). I had tried a new version out but it would always fullscreen across all my displays which sounds like whats happening to you. You could always just maximize the window instead of fullscreening if you don't w...

You can set VLC to display a video as 3 sections, then full screen each one on the correct screen. The setting is in Settings -> Preferences then, on the side menu, expand the Video option and select Filters and check "Wall video filter". Finally, expand filters, select Image Wall and set the number...

Horizontal Span isn't capped as far as I can tell. I've run 2 tripleheads horizontally. However, both displays must be the same resolution, so no 2+1 or 2+3 (as I wanted), which means that you'll always end up with an edge in the middle.

Unfortunately the Horizontal/Vertical spanning modes (at least when you use Nvidia's control panel) require that both displays have the same resolution. You could do it with 2 TH2G/DH2G if they are both at the same resolution.

I've been using PowerDesk in Vista for about a month now, I was only using it to limit maximize to a singe screen, but I just turned on edge snapping and it seems to work (I was never able to get that to work in XP actually). I didn't do anything special when I installed it. I'm using version 11.8.5...

Yeah I'd really like to get my hands on the 6 projectors too. :)
I'm not sure if the option to span displays is in Vista yet, all I see is Single, Clone and Dualview, but it might because I'm using displays with different resolutions. |

We did this in Windows XP, we could not get 3D to display across it when it was set at 6x1 because of that width limit, but Google Earth did work when I put in a 3x2 configuration.

A 3x2 is possible using 2 TH2Gs and an nVidia card. I know nVidia cards give you the option to vertically span two displays of the same resolution, essentially making what appears to Windows to be a really tall screen. So all you need to do is connect 3 TVs to each triplehead, then set the option to...

Yep, We're using 6 projectors right now, though in that picture only 3 of them are actually shinning on the dome, we need more long vga cables to get more projectors around the dome.

@ JKeefe- They want 3D rendered across all the displays, not necessarily games, but definitely Google Earth and Celestia.

Matrox's software may have problems with the setup. I didn't use any of the software, I just plugged them in, restarted the machine, and Windows picked up the supported resolutions.

This is the only good shot I got of it. The image is projected onto a 12 foot dome. I'll try to get better pictures next time I work on it, probably Thursday.

I just want to let you guys know that it is possible to hook up two TH2G to a single gpu (used a 6800). I had 2 of them hooked up to 6 projectors, then used nVidia's horizontal span to make it appear to be a single 6144x768 display (6x (1024x768)) Google Earth crashed when trying to full screen acro...

Newegg sells an LG(this whole thread has been LG, I figured I'd continue the trend) monitor with similiar specs to the one from BestBuy, except it has a thinner bezel and is cheaper. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824005075 It is listed at a slower response time than the other ...

The specs for that monitor look pretty good, really nice contrast, so-so viewing angle. One oddity I see is that the aspect ratio is listed at 4:3, but a 1280x1024 display should have a 5:4 ratio, probably just Best Buy's mistake. The bezel looks pretty big and that is an issue when you are putting ...

I don't know if that LCD would work too well with the TH2G, its native res is not supported in triple screen mode, so you'd end up with a distorted image. I'd go with a 19 or 17 inch non-widescreen, 1280x1024x3 is the highest resolution the unit supports, so going with widescreen monitors is really ...
