Starcraft / Dune 2000
Okay, wait...if I understand the instructions correctly...the D3DWindower program will allow you to run Starcraft (and Diablo II) at custom resolutions...in a window. But is there a way to use this program/technique to run Starcraft with custom resolution, in fullscreen?

Hey nmi576, is there any way to use that technique in Windows XP, or only Vista?

Starcraft / Dune 2000
It's a shame that Starcraft never supported beyond 800x600 resolution.
I thought Starcraft maxed out at 640x480. Does it actually support 800x600? Everything I've seen indicates that it doesn't run in anything (higher OR lower) than 640x480. If I could run it at even a higher 4:3 A.R., that'd be ...

As I don't have the game myself, I won't be able to provide said screenshots, as yet. However, there is a screenshot of the game in both standard and widescreen in this thread, by MAXLD. Additionally, there are even some surround screenshots over here, by Paddy the Wak.

I noticed that Test Drive Unlimited (TDU) doesn't yet have a page in the Wiki/list. I did a search in the forums, and there are 3 threads (not counting this one) about the game. All of these either state, or at least imply, that TDU supports widescreen natively, and the support seems to be Hor+. One ...

The Godfather, Will it have WS support?

Re: My widescreen workaround
1900x1200: "80 07 00 00 B0 04"
1680x1050: "90 06 00 00 1A 04"
1440x900: "A0 05 00 00 84 03"
How about a hex code for 1360x768?

EA Ceases Online for PC/Console Games - Oct 1, 2006.
Really to me, it's just another reason to dislike EA :P.
The biggest gripe I have with EA is their refusal to release ANY NCAA titles on the PC. I would've loved to try out the college tournament format of MVP 06: NCAA Baseball, but even worse is the non-release of NCAA Football and NCAA March ...

Typical EA. Kill support for the older games to force people to buy the newest 200X based game or whatever.
Well, considering you can get 06 versions of most (if not all) EA Sports titles that actually ARE AVAILABLE on the PC for $9.99 or so, at most big-box stores, I wouldn't complain. If you ...

you say you can use the devmode to change fov
whats the command?
Actually, I was asking if there was a way to change the fov in the console. Someone had posted it, but it was slightly confusing. They said it was " fov xyz " and I wasn't sure if that meant that it had to be a 3-digit number or ...

notes and questions:
1 - Widescreen resolutions that seem to be supported in-game via the options menu, without any modifications: 1280x720, 1280x768, 1360x768
2 - Shouldn't the FOV for 16:9 resolutions be more like 120? If we break down the aspect ratios to their x:1 equivalents, 4:3, 16 ...

True Crime: New York City - TCNYC widescreen FOV...?
I was just wondering exactly what the native widescreen FOV adjustment is in True Crime: New York City. I know it's not stretched, because all the characters and cars look proportionally accurate. So, does anyone know if it's FOV +H, or FOV -V?

Madden 06 - stretched
Okay, now I know there have been some posts about this, and some replies to other posts. I have a Westinghouse 32" widescreen TV, with a native PC resolution of 1360x768. Here is what I can tell, after playing around with Madden 06.
