the tv is can take 1080 resolutions for television use. why not for a pc as well?

also, what if my graphics card doesnt support that resolution?

you mean from the settings in the graphics card or the tv?

i want to use my 42" samsung plamsa 852 X 480 EDTV tv as my computer monitor. i hooked it up using a dvi output on my radeon video card. i bought a wire that converts from dvi to hdmi so it worked with the input on the tv. the screen looks great for pictures, however text is blurry and hard on the e...
