I have noticed that the correct aspect ratios are not supported on the character select screen. It only applies when you are actually in the game world. Most likely a bug that I highly doubt will ever be fixed.
Also, 5:4 aspect ratio is not supported.

HowTo Hack Games to Support true WideScreen (not stretched)?
If you check out the master list for games you can get information on how to get games running in "real" widescreen. Some games do not have support at all, even with ini mods, for FOV changes but a lot require the ini to be moded.

Unreal Tournament: Detailed report
Very nice report. I think the reason it doesn't allow widescreen without ini tweaks is because when it came out widescreen wasn't really out if it was out at all at a consumer level. The newest versions of the series, '03 & '04, have the FOV selection in game (though they cap at 100 so perfect FOV ...

I am running at 1680x1050 on my system (check sig) and have everything turned on other than AA/HDR and I get a constant 25-60 FPS which, for some reason, is still playable completely in this game.
Not sure what makes 25 FPS playable in this game but I am not complaining.

I personally use only danger den blocks. I prefer the way they look and the options you have with them. Though they aren't the best performers they are very nice looking and when you have a window and can see the block it helps.
The maze 4 is a very nice CPU block. Great performance.

lol
I always go with de-ionized water with water wetter to keep algae from growing and to add to the viscosity of the water. Seems to work pretty well and it give the water a nice little pinkish red glow that reacts to UV.

There are alternatives but for the most part they are too expensive.
Water cooling systems don't really have issues unless you don't know how to clamp down hoses. The biggest problem with water cooling is if you don't add some sort of additive like anti-freeze or water wetter then you can start ...

I have been running water cooling since about 2002 or 2003. As long as you build it correctly it is well worth it.
My processor stays far cooler with water cooling than with air cooling and overall my case is quieter (dual 7800gt's being the loudest part).

We were also mentioned in a review article for the new 7900 cards from nvidia on [H]ardOCP. Need list of FOV for games...
Ok guys. I am remaking the FOVCalc program in PHP and am making a small change that requires a list of games and their default FOV.
Hopefully everyone here can help me determine a decent size list (10+ games) and their FOV so that I can add a drop-down list of games so you don't have to hunt ...

Help me design a "widescreen grading" rubrick.
I like that grading. It works very well.
For the + and - on games you could have it so if it is in the D range and it doesn't match 2 of the 4 requirements it will be a D-. If it meets 3 of the 4 then it is a D and if it meets all 4 then it is D+.
