Re: Out of the loop, looking for recommendations on a monitor...
Yeah, I've been looking at some of the ultrasharps. Which are on sale though? I don't see any from their website on sale, aside from a 27".

Contact DICE to fix Battlefield 2 lack of WS support
I still can't believe we haven't gotten a fix. Do they really think that having a widescreen is a form of cheating? Or are they just lazy?

Battlefield 2: Special Forces?
I was having this same problem.
I solved it by making a copy of my shortcut to regular BF2. Then I added +modPath mods/xpack +ignoreAsserts 1 to the end after the lines for my custom resolution. It loads the custom res now instead of just crashing to desktop.
Okay, I'll try that, but to ...

Battlefield 2: Special Forces?
Ok, I reinstalled and the game is working fine. I went to the target to add +szx 1920 +szy 1200 with one space after the 1200 part. I ran the game, it crashed to desktop. I took away the added part, and it worked fine again...What am I doing wrong?

I play WoW and used to play DAoC. Both were very good. The subscription price was worth it to me

I did the path that you guys suggested, it still keeps crashing after the splash. I'll tinker with it a bit more
