Right click in you desktop>Properties>Settings>Advanced>Displays>Click on the Panel Display and make sure "Scale Images to Panel Size" is UNCHECKED. (I think I got the steps right)

Yes, I agreee with BongoTrumman. Newer cards such as the 9800 are rarely made in the PCI catagory. AGP and PCI-E are far more common. If you really do have no PCI-E or AGP slots on your motherboard, you might have to seriously consider getting a new one.

The 1:1 option with an nvidia card is not dependant on your monitor as far as I've seen. ATI CCC only supports video scaling on their high-end cards.

Well, I finally got a new nvidia 6800. Its supports 1:1 stretch and native resolution. I can finally play warcraft III with out streching.

The Omega Drivers dont have any option like 1:1 either. Ill look for a registry hack.

I'll test the Omega Drivers and see if they have the option, then I'll check back with you guys.

Would that option work with DVI?
What cards have the 1:1 option because I may be getting a new card soon.

I have a problem with both parts of your solution.
When I bring up the OSD I cannot select the Video Adjust menu because its grayed out. It wouldnt be because I'm useing a VGA cable?
AND
When I open the CCC which I assume is this window...

...I dont have a digital panel properties option ...

Well ive looked at those threads but neither helped. The Controlled Variable Stretch Technique leaves a very strange pattern on my monitor and the work area is not centered. Changing the resolution does nothing because it will still stretch the game.

I cant find the fixed aspect ratio in PowerStrip. Does anyone know how to do it?

I tried the CCC but I did not even have a display tab for me. I switched to Omega but they didnt give the maintain aspect ratio option either.

I Recently bought a 21 inch Gateway HD monitor. When I try to play Warcraft III it streches the picture ant I find it annoying. I have an ATI X300 and the latest Omega drivers. Is there is a way to keep games in there native resolution and have black boxes on the sides?
