I am seriously thinking about a reinstall but I want to know some simple things like if it will run under XP and what if anything else needs to be done to successfully enjoy the game once again..

| I used the command line switches "-aspect 1.60 -width 1680 -height 1050" but to no avail. Though screenshots show up at 1680x1050 the actual viewing area remains at whatever is selected in the options screen (which happened to be 1280x960 in my case) and only mission text shows outside that area.
