Widescreen Gaming Forum

Would the 'shortcut fix' discussed in this post, work with a panasonic AE900 projector? The projectors native res is 1280x720.

by 'work' I dont mean give me proper widescreen, which I understand isnt supported, I just mean could I get that chopped off view, which although not ideal still looks ...

How much of the screen is missing when I use this application?
Just an insignificant fraction or do I lose my radar and health bars etc?
Is it still playable in cutoff 4:3?
