Yeah theres a new patch out, version 1.3. Could someone possibly do the same thing for 1600x1000 settings (or whatever 16:10 is) for me as a trainer or a save for that program?

I would email the games technical staff as Dougofthenorth said. Tell them you spec, and that you've had issuse relating to dual core cpus - maybe if enough people complain they will release a patch.

You said you have an AMD 4400+ which is an X2 right? So your problem is proberbly dual core related.
Alt tab out of Flatout while on a menu and cntrl alt del to bring up taskmanager. Right click on the flatout process and run on just one core.

I know it quite and old game now, but I just got it only to find it only supports upto 1024x768 in the options.

I tried to edit the config but it just crashes when I set it to 1920x1200 or 1440x900. Has anyone found a fix for it?
