F.E.A.R. Full game
Thrilla try 1280x720, If it doesn't work try switching from dvi plug to vga or vice versa. It maybe nvidia drivers, make sure you can set the desktop to the resolution you want, if you can't select 1280x768 or 720 in the display settings, that could be the prob.

Okay, I have a solution...
Use Mozilla Firefox
I loaded up my wife's new laptop. It has a 14" widescreen at 1280x800. Using IE, the forum went too wide, past the native res. I loaded it in Firefox, and it limits it just fine.

Hey all,
Since me (and I m sure a lot of other users too) using 1280x768 resolution I can't get this board to fill the screen in width.
The forum is too wide for my screen and I need to scroll horizontally too to read most topics.
Is it possible to maybe add another template for users ...

As far as I know you use Steam for starting HL2 right?
So make a shortcut to HL2 via Steam on your desktop.
Go to properties of the shortcut and select in compatibility mode for forced 640x480 start.
Your screen could handle 480i right?
Then change the right resolution in HL2..
