Re: Oculus Rift Game problem

Hi

Outlast is not a VR game, so you need to use a third party utility like VorpX, Vireio Perception or Tridef to get it working in VR. If you are going to try a lot of games that are not made for VR in VR, its worth getting one of those utilities. Edgepeek from Vorpx as example, is very useful in ...

Re: YouTube Oculus Rift gameplay videos

Comments and suggestions are welcome!

I like your approach to this. Having a single image instead of the dual is much better, since I find it fatiguing when showing both eyes. When I look at Rift videos, I wish to see the users movements and the effect on the screen. I think you videos nailed ...

No problem. :)

I forgot the most important thing of all, you CAN try a dev kit if you wish. There are people offering others to try out theirs here:

I see there are a couple in Netherlands as well.

Re: First impressions

I would love to try one out! To bad I am prone to motion sickness. Do you feel that this is something you can get used to?

While waiting for LordJuanlo's answer, I can offer some of which I found around on the internet regarding motion sickness.

I've been reading up a LOT about OR and to me it ...

Thanks for the feedback!

I've pre-ordered a kit myself, but it will take a while before it arrives I think. Meanwhile, I have been reading up a bit on other people's impressions instead.

Loved the video you made of your sister trying out the Rift:

My bad. I see you have even notified in the mod forum about this. Thats what I get from being inactive for a while In my defence I at least saw this as a good thing that you should be contacted about when I approved his posts (and checked the sites)

Hello back from Norway. :)

It would be fun to see your setup, since its right into WSGF's concept. Please contact site owner (Ibrin) if you wish to advertise the products themselves or be an official representative for the Warpalizer product on WSGF.

Re: [H]ardocp Fall 2012 GPU and Driver Comparison Roundup

[H] has already mentioned they will do a SLI/Crossfire followup. They had a lot of cards to test on a short time, so I guess they had to exclude multi-mon resolutions. Too bad, since many here on WSGF would have preferred that.

You have the WSGF edition, which is among the best triple stands you can get. On that, you can remove the heavy plate on the foot and mount it on the desk itself:

Also I don't see how that's supposed to be ...

Yup, you are correct... According to their announcements the field of view will be 110 degrees (diagonally). However, there has been talk that they have been able to get some slightly larger screens, so the actual field of view in the dev kits might be higher. I don't know if this has been 100 ...

Gaming industry are at the mercy of consoles and all the next gen consoles will use DX 11.1 capable AMD GPU's according to the rumors. Its not unthinkable that they will use DX 11.1 features. The supposedly leaked slides regarding the Xbox 720 also suggests it:
