I was thinking about getting a 2405fpw but my vid card is only a GF 6800 GTO. From what I have read, I would have a difficult time running FPS games in the 2405fpw's native resolution, so I guess I would have to scale it down to make the game playable. I added a line in my doom 3 shortcut to execute my autoexec.bat, which contains all the commands necessary to play doom 3 in widescreen. That fixed the problem, although I thought if I named it autoexec it would execute automatically. Guess not. Oh well, thanks for the help everyone.
