I used to play Doom3 V1.0 in widescreen (1280x720) and all worked just great. I had WinXP Pro SP1 with (am unsure of DirectX version, either 9.0b or 9.0c), a few weeks ago, I had to reformat, and installed XP Pro SP2 this time for better security.
