for everyone using 1680x1050 can you tell me exactly all youve done? ive added the +sxy 1680 and szy 1050 to the command line (just like the original poster but with 1680 and 1050 instead), but it DOESNT work. My screen goes black, then it goes back to desktop. Im thinking you have to edit the .con ...

Right click on your Battlefield 2 icon on the desktop, click on properties on the part where it says target, add +szx 19200 +szy 1200. So it looks like this ...

Not working with 1280x720 either :( and my HDTV dosen't like 1280x960. Well it didn't last time i tried.

well its not :(, i can use 1280x720 in the other games and in the ati control panel i have forced 720p detection thingy... dag namit :'(

anyway to get this game to run at 1280x720? 1280x1024 looks so lame on a DLP, i wants widescreen even if its stretched. :cry:

What I did is set the doom3config file to read only. I have it at 1280 x 768 16:10 aspect ratio. I changed all my control settings in the game then I exit, then changed the res. in the doom3config file, and right click to read only.

I had the same problem what you gotta do is in the doom3 base folder make a new text file but call it autoexec.cfg then you add the lines...

well i got it to run in 1280x720 and it works now in widescreen and in the first run it cut the bars off but now it dosent :D

The battles are widescreen for me but the stratergy wont play in 1280x720 even with read only it ignores it and puts it back to normal :cry:.

Is there anyway to make this game run in 1280x720 as it wont let me :x
