| for everyone using 1680x1050 can you tell me exactly all youve done? ive added the +sxy 1680 and szy 1050 to the command line (just like the original poster but with 1680 and 1050 instead), but it DOESNT work. | I have edited/condensed this solution to make it easier to follow ... sorry to all that may have lost posts ... | Remember, there always seem to be multiple threads on the same topic. :lol: I searched for BF2, and got this post from tas... http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/ Looks like you have to edit a .con file. yeah... which dosen't work and only causes the game to quit when starting up... |

| What I did is set the doom3config file to read only. I have it at 1280 x 768 16:10 aspect ratio. I changed all my control settings in the game then I exit, then changed the res. in the doom3config file, and right click to read only. Thats what i tried at first but it still didnt work, and the autoe... |

| well i got it to run in 1280x720 and it works now in widescreen and in the first run it cut the bars off but now it dosent :D |

| The battles are widescreen for me but the stratergy wont play in 1280x720 even with read only it ignores it and puts it back to normal :cry:. |
