Yeah I figured as much, the 16:9 screens do look stretched, but honestly I don't think I mind if it can as you say be successfully patched to 1920x1080, better than 800 and I do like the Myst games so, unless of course there's a resolution that (in your opinion) would look 'the best' on a 19:9 monitor. I don't have any multi-monitor setup though so your other problem won't affect me. Thanks for the quick replies and support though, this site is pretty slick.

Also, regarding the process, I would create my character/save in default resolution, quit out of the game, run the WS patch, then go back in and load up my character, yes?

No problems.

Yeah, that's what I did. Just begin the game with default settings, get past the character creation, and then quit out. Make sure the resolution is set to 800x600 (the patcher needs that to be set), then run the patcher, enter your desired res, and then play. Just have to try a few resolutions to see what you like best.

Yeah I think that is just the Uru Live portion of the game, not the single player story, which GOG.com now own and sell.
