Actually i'm going to say i'm possibly wrong on the directX stuff... ..Because i'm not even sure if i was using the directx11 option in total war shogun2... Maybe it was directx10. Although i'm pretty certain i had the option in other games too, like bf4.. and assassins creed 2 i think and... some o...

I got a 780... ..and it is an increase in performance... Not astonishing, considering its 4 series' up... [ 50 fps increase on average ] But i guess it is replacing 2 cards, and at least it didn't go down in performance. Finally not trying to one-up you but... I did not say anywhere that the 200 ser...

You cant compare a high end card with a low end.. its not fair. Actually you can, on the basis they're both graphics cards... and reviewers often do, when they advise people to not buy the value cards :D If they're both anywhere near the same price.. it would be silly not to compare them... from a ...

thank god for that i felt this conversation was deteriorating rapidly and i couldnt see where i was going wrong... Again, i appreciate the replies, i am not bashing you... I'm just very reluctant to waste money and time testing out new setups for marginal increases in pixel pushing power... Especial...

:D wow you're bitter if someone asks questions :D like i said... imagined slights. Believe it or not, i appreciated the time taken to reply... ...I just wanted to know the reasoning for your advice ... But you're right i could've just dismissed your advice out of hand :) also, nvidia have only recen...

What 'bashing' lol? I'm obviously not a mind reader... Just a person trying to get some information. I don't know you, you don't have 2-series, you said the card isn't out yet... so why would i just accept your musings/advice as gospel. Do you just accept things without any follow up questions? Wher...

Hmm, thanks, Would it actually be an upgrade though? So a GTX 960 will outperform 2x275's in SLI :) Do you have any experience with nvidia, SLI, or the 2-series cards. I mean you said the card's not out yet.. So whats the basis for that advice :) I'm not trying to cause offence but i tend to only ge...

Merry christmas :o) To save you reading the below wall of text (its mostly shite) In summary/edit: I have an fx9590 8-core 5ghz cpu... and 16gb of ram -- and an old pair of GTX 275's in SLI with th2go, at 5040*1050 resolution. So i use the SLI and triple monitors with these old cards. However dispit...

Either have the choice between a map that takes up almost the whole left screen or one thats far off to the left - So by the time ive turned my head to look at it, im dead. Also, the...

Thanks for Flawless Widescreen... I'm using it with Tribes Ascend, and it does make a difference regarding the FOV.. not sure what it does -exactly- but it does change it (now that i realise there's a built-in FOV option you can change) I hate to 'ask for more' because it makes my thanks feel less g...

Hi, Glad someone dug this up as i also have a vested interest in this topic, its one of the few on my watchlist. Why would you want th2go with a cintiq?

Just out of curiosity? I mean i see the appeal of just a cintiq on its own, its a tablet/monitor built into one..

..But unless you had 3 of them and you wanted to use them side-by-side.. why would you want th2go with it as well?

This whole topic is here because im an idiot.. Called matrox support in canada.. and the dude there pointed out: Because i was using the VGA input, and not the DVI input.. on the TH2go box.. There wasnt enough bandwidth to even display what i wanted, switched over to DVI input and it all works fine ...

Im rewriting this in the hope someone replies. Im trying to do 5040x1050. My monitors support 1680x1050 individually, they are all the same brand/model. Belinea 22" widescreen ones I am using Vista x64 and an Nvidia GeForce 275 ..and i am following the guide for getting 5040 to work. I tested a cust...
