Download MySims_WSGF_fix_for_Hor+.zip
Locate the file C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\MySims\SimsRevData\GameData\rev_camera.xml, back it up and extract the fixed file for your desired aspect ratio (16:10, 15:9, 16:9, TH or WTH).
To fix the file by yourself, open C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\MySims\SimsRevData\GameData\rev_camera.xml in any text editor and use FOVCalc to get the right FOV values for your desired resolution. There's half a dozen different values to calculate and edit.
