DiRT 3 - Splitscreen with Eyefinity

DiRT 3 is yet another rally game in the cycle signed with Colin McRae's name. ... Bla bla bla.... This isn't yet another review. I'm pretty sure that most of you had some experience with this game or it's predecessors. So I don't see any point in writing about how many tracks/cars/play modes etc. are available in the game. Instead I will focus on something that is rarely mentioned in the reviews I've seen thus far. I'm talking about built-in Splitscreen mode! DiRT 3 is the first game from Codemasters which include this mode and today I am going to check how it performs combined with Eyefinity technology.

IV. Results and summary.

Howto: Unreal Tournament 3 up to 4 players Split-screen with multiple dispays

Hi and wecome to the next of my blog entry where I help you to run PC games in split-screen mode.

For today I have prepared a real treat: Unreal Tournament 3. Eventhou this game was originaly released in november of 2007 by Epic Studios - constant engine updates make this game look grate even today. This fast paced first person perspective shooter is a fine example of Unreal Engine 3.0 possibilities. And since the game is developed by the same studio as the engine itself, it has a lot of features which are ment to promote UTEngine and are not availible through traditional menu. Today we will take the advantage of this fact to play this title in split-screen mode.

Howto: Left 4 Dead Split Screen with Eyefinity

Welcome to my first blog entry.

I'm aiming to put together a complete howto for a way to play games in split screen on pc. This play mode is usualy missing in PC games however its present im most of console games.. And I don't understand why? PC's are superior to consoles in terms of amount of controllers you can use (Xbox's PS3 or even Wii controllers can be used with PC) and posibility of using multiple displays is just shouting for SS on PC.

So! The first game I put on the table is: Left 4 Dead. Its propably the game which is forced to run in Split-Screen (SS) most often. I know that there are many guides already but I'd like to go a little bit further and put together a way to SS, how to config your controller and also how to run SS in multi monitor setup.

So here we go:

I. How to run the game in SS
II. Usefull console commands
III. Running multiplayer split-screen game. (2PCs, 4Players)
IV. Controller configuration
V. Multi monitor setup
VI. Results and summary
