16:9 is natively supported. Select your native resolution, if using 16:10 or other less common aspect ratios, use Flawless Widescreen or Brandon's fixed exe by copying the exe to the program directory. They are available from the PC Gaming Wiki Community Files (search there).
If you want to the HUD unstretched, copy D3DX9_42.dll to the same directory where the main executable is located in. Make sure "Widescreen" is checked in the game configuration settings before using.
Optional FOV:
For higher FOV, open the exe in a hex editor and go to offset 28B10 and change 00 00 80 3F to a higher value like AB AA AA 3F or some other value.
Notes: Flawless Widescreen is HOR- for narrower aspect ratios and for the other fix in the attachment above, the black teeth is shown on the top and bottom for narrow aspect ratios in gameplay.
